My interests are generally narrative in nature with an occasional nod to humor. The images are often conjured, sometimes for weeks, but can be born from serendipity too. I often dwell inside a theme I call Commentary & Other Quandaries. At times I am the subject. I’m often surprised by the result and always grateful for my tripod. What assignation I make comes as I view a print, when abstractions or planning become a tale worthy of the telling; it’s as if I’m seeing it for the very first time. Other images in my oeuvre are purely compositional in nature and deal with subject matter more for the form and beauty then for the message. The gratifying thing, apart from seeing work on public display, is to hear the conversation…and always, interpretations will vary.
