Cali Gorevic is an award winning black and white fine art photographer living in the Hudson Valley. Originally a medium format film photographer, she also now photographs digitally, still printing every photograph herself.
Her work springs from her strong connection with nature. She often travels to unusual environments for the inspiration she finds among trees and rocks. She has also produced portfolios of animals, still life and architecture, as well as “Imagine That”, a children’s book featuring digital color composites of toys.
Cali has taught privately and at the Garrison Art Center, where she also served for many years on the Board of Directors. She has shown nationally and internationally. Her work appears in numerous private and corporate collections including Alliance Capital and Erste Bank in NYC, ITT and Quest Diagnostics. She has also served as curator, judge and juror for many organizations including NYFA.
